Bylaw of Association of Chinese Professionals

The Association of Chinese Professionals (ACP) is an independent, non-political, non-profit professional organization. The goals of the Association are:

• To promote cultural, economical, and technological cooperation and exchange between the US and China by encouraging its members' active involvement and by providing services and opportunities for friendship, networking, and collaborations among its members and between members and their communities.
• To encourage advancement of scientific and technological knowledge, and improve the qualifications and occupational opportunities of its members.
• To facilitate professional contact among its members, and establish a spirit of fraternity among its members.

Membership in the Association shall open to all professionals of Chinese ethnicity pursuing professional career in Great Philadelphia metropolitan area and other areas in Delaware Valley. The property, business, and affairs of the Association shall be managed by the Council. Each member of the Council shall hold office for a term of two years.
